Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter Wi-Fi Disconnects

Hello,

I recently bought a laptop and I'm having trouble with my connection. I can access the internet using Wi-Fi, but my connection keeps dropping regularly. I can't detect any wireless networks at that point. To reconnect, I always have to disable/enable my network adapter...

I saw online that I needed to uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power," but that hasn't helped. I also saw some people explaining that I needed to select a certain setting in the advanced options of the network adapter, but I can't find the setting they mentioned...

If by chance you have faced this issue before or have any ideas to solve it, I'd appreciate your help.

For your information, my computer is running Windows 10 and my network adapter is a Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter.

Thank you very much in advance!

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 48.0.2564.116

    Hello.
You may be too far from your box or modem, which causes signal dropouts.

Hello tribun, my router is in the same room as my computer, so I doubt it. Moreover, no matter which router I connect to, I always have this problem.

Did you have a different version of Windows than Win 10 before?

Return to customer service if the PC is still under warranty.
Considering the numerous issues with Win 10 on CCM, I conclude that this system is comparable to that of Vista in the past.
A piece of junk, nothing more.

    Hi,

I would suggest you go to the support site of your PC's brand to reinstall the wifi card drivers.
    This could solve the problem.
Download the correct driver, then go to Control Panel, Device Manager, then in the Network Adapters section, right-click on the wifi card and uninstall it, checking the box to delete the driver. Restart your computer and then install the previously downloaded driver, and restart again to finalize.

    See you!
