Unable to link Instagram business account to Facebook page

Hello,

I recently opened a Business Manager account, and since then Instagram is asking for authentication of my FB page in order to share content via IG. My Business Manager account is indeed linked to my page and my Instagram account. However, I tried switching my professional Instagram account to personal, but the problem persists; I keep getting this error message: "Instagram account cannot be removed from business. Instagram account is associated with a commerce account and cannot be moved. Please disable the commerce account first before trying again."

Does anyone have a solution? I have already lost my stats by switching the type of account…

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 14.1.2

I found the solution.
I was promoting my product store on Facebook and Instagram.

I deleted my store on Instagram.
Then I re-established the Facebook-Instagram connection (which worked this time without any issues!
Then I put the product store back on Instagram.

Everything is working correctly for me now.

Has your merchant account been validated? Because my request was rejected and I don't know why. So even changing my type of Instagram account doesn’t work.

I'm experiencing the same problem,
How did you delete your shop on Instagram?
The recommendations on FB are to delete the merchant account, but I can't do it...

So, you go to:
business.facebook.com/commerce

Then in "SALES" -) "SETTINGS"
You go to "professional elements" and there, you have access to your sales channels.
You click on Instagram and then you click on remove.
Once you're okay, you try again to link Facebook to IG
and once everything is okay, you add your Instagram account back to your shop (in the same place where you removed it)
