Hello,
I have an HP Officejet 5220 printer. This problem occurred recently. I reconfigured and reconnected my printer, hoping to resolve my issue and return to portrait mode. But nothing has changed....
What should I do?
Thank you for your response.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 91.0.4472.124

Hello,
I might be a bit late to the conversation, but the solution is much simpler than that... you just need to click on "size" in the print dialog box. This problem usually occurs when you click on multiple which can be set by default when you just changed your cartridges. That's it, it's pretty simple.

Hello
The page orientation "Portrait/Landscape" is possible in 2 places...
1) In the driver, at the Windows level, without any application open. It depends on your version of Windows but it is always available in "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers", then right-click on the printer and select "Printer Properties". Often this setting is "prioritized"...
2) In the program where you want to print, this setting is not "prioritized" and can sometimes be saved in the document if saved after printing..
A "deep" uninstallation of the driver may solve the problem.
See you later

If the answer helped you: a small thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)
Let he who has never opened a user manual throw the first mouse.

Hello and thank you for your response.
I followed your advice to the letter. In fact, the printer preferences setting was already saved as "portrait".... and it didn't change anything regarding the print orientation.
I have Windows 10.

Hello
If you print the Test page from "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers", right-click on the printer, "Printer Properties", "Print Test Page" button
Test if it prints in Portrait and also test in Landscape.
If it works well, then it's in the application that you need to make a setting.
