Problem 513 Front chassis fan not detected

Hello,

I have a problem with my HP PC. When I turned it on this morning, I encountered a black screen with the message "Problem 513 Front chassis fan not detected."

By pressing F1, it turns on anyway, but I'm worried about damaging it if there's a fan issue... it makes quite a bit of noise... could it be due to dust or not at all? To the heat? (my desk is like an oven). I work on the computer, so I can't risk damaging it...

Thank you,
Charlotte

Hello,
Do you have a fixed HP PC with a tower?
The phrase "...Front chassis fan not detected" indicates that the front chassis fan is not working. Check that it is properly connected and spinning.

Hello! Yes, that's right. Yes, my fans are running. This morning the message is no longer displaying... I don't know if it could be related to overheating, I downloaded Core Temp and the temperature could go up to https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-37249132-probleme-513-front-chassis-fan-not-detected?utm_campaign=Mail+de+Service_&utm_medium=email&seen=2&utm_source=MagNews# just over 80 yesterday. I live under the roof so my office, when it's over 30 outside, is quite unbearable.

Well, for now the problem seems to be resolved then...

I had the same problem and no solution anywhere!! But when I replaced the original CPU fan with an Arctic P8 Slim PWM PST, I no longer have "Front chassis fan not detected"!!!
