Since I changed the tower (while keeping the same components)
through an installer, my PC (a Compaq Evo 510 CMT) no longer boots automatically (I have to press F1 to boot). Additionally, I have a message saying "512 chassis fan not detected." I know that this is related to a fan, and I have spotted three pins on the motherboard labeled chassis fan. How can I boot my PC and finally remove this error message?

Hello
already reset the BIOS to default using the simplest method
unplug the computer after shutdown
open the case, remove the battery for a few minutes, about 10
replace the battery, close it and restart
press the Del or Delete or F1 or F2 key depending on the BIOS
set the date and time
adjust the settings either in professional mode or to default if a novice

Thank you, Popeye, for your help. I did what you told me; it reset the BIOS, but my error message remains and it still won't boot. If you have any other ideas or if anyone else does, thank you.

Press F10 to enter the BIOS - Power-Hardware Monitor-Chassis Q-fan Control- DISABLED F10 to save the changes and then enter.
