Hello,
Following the addition of a graphics card on an ACER VERITON M661, I receive this message at startup, during boot, "chassis has been opened." To continue booting into XP, I must press the F1 key each time.
Is it possible to disable this message? I read something about removing a jumper or a setting in the BIOS, can someone tell me more?
Have a great day everyone

Hello,
Thank you for your responses. However, simply disabling it in the BIOS is not enough. You need to reset the chassis open status directly. Here's what I did.
1) BIOS -> PC Health Status
2) Alert Chassis Opened -> Clear
I don't have the BIOS in front of me, so the terms may not be exact.
In any case, thank you and see you soon.-
Thank you very much br1dil, that's exactly what needs to be done, at least for me. However, it's worth noting that there can be variations, but without your explanation, I wouldn't have looked in that part of the BIOS. In my BIOS, it was just below PC health status: Bios/Bios Security Features/Chassis opened warning. There, three options: Enable, Disable or Clear. Best of luck.
