Unable to open Messenger on Facebook

I can access messenger by going through "messenger.com" but not through Facebook. I tried with another browser: same. The problem for me comes from Facebook. Strange that this has been going on since this morning and it still hasn't been resolved by Facebook...

It just got fixed for me too this evening. The problem must have come from Facebook because I don't have anything special.

At my place tonight, it's always the same. I did as Jag72 suggested, made a new message and put the name of the person it's intended for. However, if you've already clicked on the username, we no longer have the option to write; you then have to close Facebook, and then we have the logo to write again, at least for me.
