Unable to access the PlayStation Store

Question

Hello everyone, it's been several months (about 3) that whenever I try to launch the PlayStation Store app on my PS4, I get an error message saying "An error has occurred."
I have connected different accounts on my console and it's the same thing. My friends have no problem using my account on their consoles; they can access it. I find myself unable to download new games, and unable to access the PlayStation Store at all. I have tried logging out and logging back in to no avail. I am therefore seeking your help if anyone has been in this situation before. For your information, I am currently in China, maybe that has something to do with my location, but I'm not sure.

I managed to find the solution to my problem yesterday. I noticed that the time and date set in the PlayStation settings were incorrect (they were two days ahead and a few minutes off the exact time). By simply resetting the correct time and date, I was able to access the PS Store again.

I'm in the same situation. I live in Switzerland and I've been unable to connect to the PS store for months, even though everything works: the PS store is not down, I can browse the internet with the console, and I even have access to the latest game activity updates from my friends, as well as the Playstation Hits announcements in the "new arrivals" tab.

The latest update is downloaded and installed, I've restarted my router many times... Nothing works: every time I try to connect to the PS Store, I face the same message "An error has occurred.", with no other reference code...

I’ve tried in vain to find help on the Playstation site, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, unless I send them my console bought in 2011 for the modest sum of 165 euros (LOL).

I did change my internet provider a few months ago. If anything that required an internet connection wasn't working, I would think it could be an explanation, but since everything seems to work except that damned connection to the PS Store, I doubt that’s the problem...

Anyway, if anyone has a lead that could help me, it would be really great to share it :-)

I have the same thing right now; I changed the time, the date, and everything, but nothing works, and on the internet, apart from here, I haven't found anything to fix this problem. Everything works except the PlayStation Store.

I have the feeling that this bug is related to the time change, which is why you have to change the time for it to work again.
