Red battery icon

Hello,

The "battery" icon at the top right of my Sony Xperia XZ3 screen remains a fixed red, even beyond 15%.

Can you tell me what that corresponds to?

    Hi, I have a Sony too, and it did the same thing to me..
    The red battery logo means that stamina mode is activated.
    To turn it off, you need to go to settings, battery.

    I suppose you have done some research on the CCM site or the Net, it could be the battery that is wearing out, and also the charger, the charger cable could be the cause!

      Hello and thank you for your response.

      The battery icon remains red, even when not plugged in. The cable and charger used are from Samsung. I doubt that's the cause of the problem.

      Like you, I suspect a defect in the built-in battery. I've had Sony laptops for several years. I've never had this red icon beyond 15% charge. Strange, I hope the battery doesn't fail.
