Request for Instagram video selfie Solved

Question

Hello,

For the past 5 days, I haven't been able to do anything on my Instagram app.

When I start the app, I'm asked to take a video selfie to prove that I'm a real person. No suspicious activity has been carried out with this account; it's used normally. I've taken this video selfie about twenty times, and each time I get the same response: video submission failed, please try again later.

Has anyone encountered this problem because I haven't received any response from Instagram support and I can't find anything about it online...

Hoping to find someone who can help me.

To my great surprise, the issue resolved itself. Overnight, this request for a selfie video disappeared and everything was unlocked..
I just no longer receive notifications even though they are indeed enabled in all the settings (iPhone and Instagram).

I feel less alone :-/
I initially tried, in vain, to create a second account (therefore to switch to multi-account). The process did not succeed... but the name I had chosen is now unavailable; in short, the account I created exists (the name is taken) but does not exist (I do not have access to it).
I’m now trying to create a new account and am stuck, like you, with this error message for the selfie video.

Hello,  About 5 days for everything to be sorted out... The only problem is, I no longer have any notifications even though they're enabled in all the settings...

I have the same problem. It happened to me two weeks ago every time I went on the app I had to make and send the video, then nothing, and now I'm struggling since this afternoon, the video isn't even sending!!!

Hello, I had issues last weekend; reports + needs to be deleted, this app has only caused bugs, at one point my account was even deactivated because I was using the app too much, I struggled for a week to recover it, it should take 24-48 hours, you need to try again.

I managed to make the selfie video. I installed Instagram, then reinstalled the app from the Play Store. I updated my phone's system. This afternoon I made two selfie videos to authenticate myself. By the end of the second one, it was good. You will succeed. I hope my experience will help you.

I just tried it on my boyfriend's iPhone and it worked! Yet I have a Huawei P30 Pro, but when I connected on an iPhone it worked right away! And I recovered my account, so the problem seems to come from the phone...

I have the same problem. I installed reports+ a few months ago thinking it was a good app, but since yesterday morning, when I go on Instagram, it does exactly the same thing as you. I don't know what to do.

I found the problem!! Reports+ goes against Instagram's terms and by entering my Instagram credentials into this application, the two are connected. Instagram has detected something that didn't sit right with them; my account is a bot because of this application, so they banned my account. The only thing I find bizarre is that my account still exists, I still have access to it, but I can't do anything on it. Blank page.

ouiii!!! I managed to recover my account, it's very simple. I'm on Samsung and I asked someone who has an iPhone to connect to my account and suddenly everything came back on my phone, so give that a try.

Same for 24 hours, no matter how much I try the facial recognition selfie, nothing works. My account is active but inaccessible. I've read quite a few comments above. Apparently, if we wait about 5 days to a week, it gets resolved. I'll wait. It's awful. Especially since for me, this is the only platform where I'm following the man I fell in love with... tough.
