Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out for your help as I'm facing a huge issue with my Instagram account.
This is the first time this has happened to me, although I've encountered bugs before that I've been able to solve...
I regularly log into my account on my computer directly on the Instagram website without going through the app. Everything was working fine as usual until suddenly, while refreshing my account page, Instagram displayed the following message on the screen: "Please confirm your information on the app to get back to your account. We noticed unusual activity on your account. Please confirm your identity on the Instagram app to recover your account."
So, I proceed to log in on the app, but once I've done that, my Instagram feed won't display; I can't do anything—neither access my messages nor anything else, as I get an error message. Then a blank screen appears, and that's it.
I don't see how I can follow Instagram's instructions to verify my identity if I can't even perform actions on my account!
Please, I don't know if this issue has happened to others since I don't think many people regularly use the site to log in. But if you know how to solve the problem, please let me know quickly. I use this account for professional reasons; all my contacts are there, so I'm really in urgent need of recovering it.
Thank you all!

Hello
My account has been restored after being blocked for 72 hours. Some people have to wait over a week to regain access to their accounts based on the messages I've read on English and American sites.
The only solution is to wait for Instagram to restore your account and don't fall into the trap of users who promise to solve your issue for a fee. However, there is a solution: being able to perform this facial recognition through a mobile phone. But the latest version of Instagram no longer allows this facial recognition. Only version 199 (for Android) works for taking your photo but ... it is unable to send this photo to Instagram (blocking, error, etc...).
Some iPhones, including the 7, allow you to take this facial recognition and send it to Instagram, which helps to unlock the situation.
As for the new iPhone models, some work, others don't. Ultimately, I advise you to patiently wait this period of at least 72 hours and to sign out of the application if it still doesn't work (that's what I did).
Courage and patience ...
