    Hello,

-- is this SFR BOX still used to connect to the Internet..?? Old..?

-- What is the model of this BOX ..?? And also of the Canon printer..?

-- Is the connection at ADSL, Fiber.. or 5G for example

-- Is there another BOX to connect..?

-- What is the Windows version..? This is where the printer is reconfigured.

    1. Hello, no, we have installed an Orange Livebox 7;

The printer is a Canon MG 3600 series, it is already connected by USB to the Livebox

In fact, the Wi-Fi connection between the laptop and the printer no longer works, because the SFR Box is still in use. The new box also appears, but when I try to use it, that is where I am asked for a code that I do not know......

      Thank you

      Hi,

this code must be the Wi-Fi key for your Orange box, which you need to enter on the printer as you did on your PC.

If you haven't changed it, it is shown under the box.

  2. Hi, which password are you talking about?

    The Windows administrator one?

And there you go, there you go, there you go ....

But oh dear, how annoying the line spacing is!!

Your setup is a bit twisted and especially the wording of the question doesn't properly expose the situation.

An USB connection from the printer is not a connection to the local network.

"Hello, no, we have installed a Livebox 7 from Orange"—is this Orange Box connected to the WEB with an active Orange subscription..?

What does the BOX SFR do in this installation..? Does it have an active internet subscription..?

To print on a "Canon MG 3600 series" printer, you need a dedicated app on the smartphone... properly configured to match the BOX connected to the internet... this setup must be completely redone... due to the new BOX.

We should also know if this "Livebox 7 Orange" actually functions as an "Print Server" => which is done via the USB of this BOX.
