Hello everyone,
I have an Elgato HD 60 S+ capture card, Streamlabs OBS software, and a Nintendo Switch.
In Streamlabs, whether in my direct audio feedback or after a recording test, the sound is delayed by about 1 second compared to the image (the image itself has no delay between the feedback in OBS and the TV where the Switch is connected).
I have tried changing some settings but I can't figure out what could correct this delay issue.
Has anyone experienced this problem or knows how to fix it?
Sorry if the topic is not in the right category, I’m not sure if it should be in the Twitch or video capture category, but since the issue arises even before going live on Twitch, I thought it was the most appropriate category...
Thank you in advance for your help and have a great day!

Hello, it is possible to correct a delay, but removing the cause is another matter. However, your Elgato device is advertised as "lag-free"!!!!
The causes are various!!
An underpowered PC, outdated audio or video codecs, a poorly encoded video.
A bad audio/video player.

Hello,
This is not a video I obtained but a live video capture. The issue comes either directly from the Streamlabs OBS software (which is the most likely), or from the Elgato capture card software called 4K Capture Utility (but I can't find any advanced settings to fix this kind of problem). But I don't know what to do to correct this.
Thank you- Hello,
Yes, I managed to solve the problem!
Actually, the issue was on my end; I had configured the mixing table incorrectly. Instead of using the sound coming from the Elgato card, it was picking up sound from my computer. Basically, I needed to ensure that I activated the sound from the Elgato card in the mixing table. I think someone helped me change one or two settings too, but overall the problem on my end was there. I no longer have any delay; the screen I'm playing on and Streamlabs OBS are well synchronized!
Good luck!

Hi, tell me how exactly you solved your problem? I have a slight delay too and I'm not using a mixing console... I'm only using the audio settings in Windows, but that's why I have a slight delay...
