PC/TV connection via HDMI, no image or sound

Hello

Turn on the TV or projector; the video connection will be VGA, S-video, composite, component, or HDMI, depending on the case.

* On your PC, right-click on the desktop
* Screen resolution
* Click on "Display desktop only on 1" or "on 2"
* Apply
* The image will then be projected onto the projection screen, and the computer screen will go black
* Click on the projection screen or TV by moving the mouse to "Keep changes"
* OK

Reverse the process to restore the image on the computer.
Or turn off the projector; the image will automatically return to the PC monitor (after a few seconds)

For audio, if not using HDMI, connect via the output of the sound card to feed your TV or an amplifier.

First, connect the powered television to the graphics card of the PC (s/vhs composite vga plus audio) or HDMI
classic method "Vista" "seven"
control panel; appearance and personalization; personalization; display settings click on screen 2; check extend the desktop to this screen; set the resolution to the lowest ratio of the two screens; apply
second method (xp)
Go to control panel; double click on your graphics card control panel (nvidia or Gforce)
configure multiple displays
select: clone and if the TV is not detected, turn it on and restart the computer
click on the link "my display is not listed"
advanced display detection and if no television is detected click yes on the message and restart the PC
retrieve the audio signal: plug the audio cable into the headphone jack or spdif (depending) of your sound card right-click on the volume icon in the Windows notification bar
and choose, playback device select the connected output and click on default
and restart the software to apply the modification
To switch to all digital (see HDI HDMI)
connect the television to the PC in the window select the type of display: mirror, extended or only on external screen check: enable presentation settings
Pal, Secam 420p or 1080i?
see step 1 and go to your sound card in the section: change the signal or HD format of the driver select the type of connector you are using and then click on the signal format that fits (ex: THD1080x2) click on apply to see the result and save the settings
for sound choose spdif as default
