Hello
I just bought an HP desktop unit but there doesn't seem to be a button to open the CD/DVD drive (????), does anyone know how to do it from the computer or the keyboard (I can't find the drive in the PC programs either)?? I'm on Windows 10
Thank you in advance and best regards

Hello,
Normally there is a small hole (very discreet) on the drawer to open it in case of problems by pushing it with a paperclip.
Otherwise, you need to go to the file explorer, right-click on the DVD drive and then click on "Eject".
Otherwise, what is the exact reference of this HP desktop unit?
Ps :
If "DVD RW Drive (D:)" is missing in the file explorer, it usually means that the computer does not have a DVD drive/burner (unless mistaken).

Hello again
it’s an HP Slimline 290-a0005nf PC with AMD A4, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB SATA. On the front, there is a "cutout" that seems to correspond to a CD/DVD drive bay, but the file explorer cannot find a CD/DVD drive: does this mean that this model is lacking one??
Best regards
