My laptop won't turn on (non-removable battery)

Hello,

So I bought an ASUS laptop a little over a year ago (still under warranty) that has been working perfectly until now.

Last night, it shut down instantly while being plugged in and the battery was fully charged.
Since then, when I try to turn it back on:
- On battery, nothing happens (no lights)
- When plugged in, no lights come on, not even the charging indicator

I have two questions:
- What can I try to turn it back on while keeping the manufacturer's warranty?
- If I send it for repair, will I lose all my data?

Thank you for your answers and have a good day!

    Hello,
from what you're saying, I'm afraid your computer is dead :(
And as for the warranty, yes, you're probably going to lose your data.
If you want to recover it, you'd need to get it repaired!
