Hello,
I'm trying to vectorize a text and save it as a PDF before opening it in Illustrator.
I have text with characters in a language that Illustrator does not recognize.
So I'm unable to edit it. What should I do?
Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 72.0.3626.119

You have 2 problems...!
Word does not vectorize, and Illustrator does not know how to use the fonts included in the PDF file... (provided they have been included)
You can try with Corel Draw, requesting vectorization upon importing the PDF file, but you will not be able to edit the text as it will be in vector format. However, it will be possible to move and replace elements.
You can also try importing as "text"... In this case, the fonts of the document will be used. But again, there are limits depending on how the PDF file was created and on which machine (MAC or PC due to character encoding)
Normally, it works if the PDF file is compliant with the "Adobe" standard 1.4 or 1.5.
