Hello everyone,

I would like to create logos with Canva, but the problem is that when I download my logo in the SVG format provided by the app, the file is transformed into a Windows Edge HTML file (attached photo to this post)

How can we get it in the right format so we can use it everywhere?

Thank you for reading and thank you for your help!

Re,

Contrariness has already partially answered your question in September.

That said, exporting to SVG is primarily intended for the web and retains its vector properties.
So, to reiterate what Contrariness explained to you, you should rather export to PDF; it’s the most versatile format, in my opinion. Nevertheless, when you say "use everywhere," it doesn’t really make sense since you’ll be exporting in different formats depending on the need.

Finally, it’s Windows that has set it by default to open SVG files with EDGE, and that’s normal because, as I mentioned earlier, it’s a web format. No matter what you open it with, the format remains the same. If you want Windows to open this format with another application, right-click on your file, then "open with," then "choose another application," and select your preferred program, making sure to check the "always open with this application" option.
