So, about a year ago, I acquired an MFC-J5335DW printer.
It was working perfectly until a power outage occurred during an update.
Since then, I have been trying to restart it for 5 hours, but it's impossible. A white screen with a black central band appears every time I plug it back in. I tried unplugging it and holding down the power button, but nothing changed except for increasing the number of black and white bands. Please, if anyone has a solution? 8 months of use for a printer that cost €240 really hurts.

Hello;
When you write "update" >> Which update are you referring to?
If this printer is only 8 months old, it is certainly still under warranty.... And in that case, why not contact Brother's customer service? See this link
See you later
Best regards

Aging well: It's preferring the time that remains to the time that passes
It's already done and they told me I'd hear back within 2 business days. I'm going to try to call them tomorrow. What's strange is that it was working perfectly fine 5 hours ago and since that outage, nothing. Moreover, I can't find any case similar to mine.
