Hello,
I am selling an item and the person wanted to pay via PayPal but I don't know anything about the app. I would like to know how to send the package? And how can I know if the payment has been made successfully?

The package is sent by you manually, then you give your email address for your PayPal account to the buyer and you will receive a notification on your phone if a payment has been made, and you will have an index on your computer.

So to sum up

There is only one way to know if the payment has successfully arrived in your account: you need to check your account

Do not consult an email claiming that the money has arrived, even if the email closely resembles the real PayPal site
Go directly to your account without clicking on any link, and enter your credentials

To get paid, do not provide your address or phone number, especially if asked
Only provide the email address used to create the PayPal account

Wait for the payment confirmation; when you receive it, wait a few more hours before shipping the package
Because sometimes PayPal indicates that the payment has arrived, but revokes it after a few hours if there are insufficient funds on the buyer’s credit card

Ship the package via Colissimo or Mondial Relay, or another method of your choice

Be aware that you will then have the shipping costs deducted, as well as PayPal fees
Next time, consider including these fees in your price
