Instance Notice Solved

Question

Hello,

I received a letter from the postal service with "Notice of Instance" written at the top right. The mailman claims to have stopped by my home, but I was indeed present. For the parcel number, it says "colieco."
My question is as follows: Since I don't remember placing an order, should I consider this as a summons to appear in a small claims court? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello everyone
"Notice of instance" simply means that a package is waiting for you at the post office (meaning it is waiting to be picked up). When it comes to a summons to court, the notice is sent either by registered mail or by a bailiff. Samgunsjovirow is right

Hello

If it was an important letter, like one coming from a court, the mailman would have probably checked "Registered". A "coliéco", as its name suggests, is a package ;-)

On the notice, is there a tracking number? If so, you can go to the post office website and track it: you might see where the package comes from, and that could give you a clue about the sender.

Mr. is right. I believe there’s no reason to panic. Even if I find myself in the same situation with Free because when you are honest, you don’t expect to find yourself in such a situation; all this because after 3 months I canceled my subscription with them due to moving, and besides, where I currently live there is no full unbundling.

Despite having followed the cancellation procedure as indicated by Free and having paid a bill by check sent by registered mail (AR) which included my new address, since then I haven’t received anything else at my new home.

Except that on December 8, 2010, I received an email from the French Collection Agency (CFR) due to reminders ???? to which I replied asking for a little more explanation and detail about this bill which amounted to €99.87, a different amount from what I found online. My email went unanswered.

Then, on December 16, 2010, I received by postal mail an "Notice of Proceedings" asking for payment of this bill upon receipt of the letter.

I started checking the invoices from the 4 months my account was still active, and I realized that they charged me for the "Service Plus" (€9.99 per month) that I had refused by email. This is an ancillary service offered, not being essential for the operation of the main service, thus access to the internet, there is no obligation to subscribe; otherwise it would be absurd, right?

This is where my question arises; I have a doubt regarding the withdrawal period: The email offering me this Service is dated June 7, 2010, at 21:23 and my refusal by email is dated June 14, 2010, at 8:40. Am I within the time frame or not?
