Hello,

I am reaching out to you regarding an audio issue on my PC that I cannot resolve:

My sound icon has a red cross and indicates "audio service not running."
I have updated the drivers, but it doesn't change anything.
When I run the problem detection, it says "One or more audio services are not running: The Windows Audio and Windows Audio End Point Builder services must be running for audio to work properly. At least one of these services is not running."

When I go to Services:
- Windows Audio is set to automatic startup but is stopped. I cannot start it; the option is inactive. I tried switching the logon to local system but it doesn't change anything.
- Windows Audio End Point Builder service is running and set to automatic. If I try to stop or restart it, I get an error message: Error 1061: the service cannot accept commands at this time.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?
Thank you! :)

PC: Acer Nitro 5
Audio System: Realtek
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 70.0.3538.77

    Hello,

    Perform an sfc:
    Windows key + X
    Select --> Windows PowerShell (admin)
    Type --> sfc /scannow and hit enter

    A system file check will be performed.

      Thank you very much, but in the urgency, I proceeded with a Windows reset.
