Dissociate 2 iPadOS devices with the same password

Hello,

I own two iPads and I made the mistake of using the same password for both. I want them to be separate and not interfere with each other. How can I do that?

    First, try resetting the device you want to unpair.

    Procedures to follow before selling, donating, or exchanging your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support (CH)

    Next, you will need to create a new Apple ID and reactivate the device with that ID.

    However, it may be possible to use Family Sharing afterward to interact with it without syncing personal data!
