Hello,
I bought the EPSON TM-T20 receipt printer and it was working fine. But I haven't used it for over 4 months, and now when I start printing, only blank pages come out and I don't know what to do...
Environment:

Hello,
the Epson TM-T20 ticket printer is a thermal printer... so it requires thermal paper to print; like this https://www.amazon.fr/Bobine-Thermique-80x80x12-Paquet-Fournitures/dp/B001AO1MTI/ref=pd_cp_229_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B001AO1MTI&pd_rd_r=5ac0643a-d46a-11e8-a00b-b1c69e9c957b&pd_rd_w=1Vrto&pd_rd_wg=8SOIy&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&pf_rd_p=767bee29-b3dc-4737-bd35-530d818921d9&pf_rd_r=KHAHQ60DK3NDTAWAM11H&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=KHAHQ60DK3NDTAWAM11H
So, if it spits out blank pages, you need to make sure the paper is still good..??
If it still doesn't print anything, it might be that the cash register/computer isn't sending anything to it
I believe it has serial, USB, and Ethernet connections, so you also need to know what type of connection is being used, is it properly configured etc.. etc... Why has it been unused for 4 months..??

Thank you for your response. I remind you that the paper is good and I actually printed with it at the beginning, and the reason I haven't used the printer for 4 months is simply that I didn't need it during that time... I bought it just to test my POS software that I developed. And the same program that I used for printing is the one I am using now, with the only difference being that before the printer was printing the characters but now it almost doesn't print anything at all.... I just see a spot at the beginning... but nothing at all, it seems to me that the printer.

Yes, but depending on the storage location, local humidity, etc., the paper is no longer good and what worked no longer works... some tickets become unreadable in less than a month... Your explanation proves nothing... it only says that it worked four months ago... as for the program, you developed it, I can't know it and it can't be compared to others... the connecting cable might be poorly plugged in... But I think I understand in half-words that it still prints a bit... that is to say, not dark enough...

Thank you Jeannets for your interest. I have changed the cable twice already, and regarding the program, know that I have always gotten blank pages even with the Windows notepad...

With bad paper, all kinds of printing will be bad... Word, Excel, Notepad, etc.

It's the same paper I was using at the beginning, Jeannets!
