Hello,
My 16-year-old Samsung LE40C750 television has an image that becomes blurry regularly for the past few days.
Do you think it’s worth getting it repaired?
Thanks in advance for your advice

Hello,
If we stick with Samsung, we can find new ones in the same size starting at 230-240€.
Considering the cost of possibly remaining parts and labor, the answer is therefore no.-
I have one whose age I don’t know (I picked it up at my deceased parents’ home) but which, after a quick Internet search, began to be marketed in 2009, so at most 17 years old.
It still works very well except for a few stains appearing on the screen that you only see when it’s off. Samsung is a very good brand, but since I was tired of seeing it, as I would be spending every 15 or 16 years to invest, I bought one that I wanted to be Samsung, central stand, optical audio output, 100 Hz QLED panel.
Here the budget is not the same, available from 55 inches but in what seems to be a very good value-for-money.

But you can still find smaller QLED at 43-50 inches and around 350€ in 50 Hz.
