Hello, I bought a laptop with Windows 10 and an optical drive, and I'm unable to read some discs. I receive the message that VLC cannot read files that are not UDF. What should I do?

What types of videos are found on CD/DVD discs and how did you burn them?
UDF stands for Universal Disk Format. To put it simply, it corresponds to video files burned in the DVD-Video format similar to commercial DVDs.
Do these discs work on a standalone DVD player if you have one?
With VLC, if it fails to automatically read what is burned on your DVD inserted into your computer’s drive, try opening the disc and going to the VIDEO_TS directory to take the first IFO file named VIDEO_TS.IFO.

Thank you, I was indeed surprised that VLC didn't play my DVD. When I clicked on VIDEO_TS, it started playing.
