Hello*

I have an HP Omen 15 ax246nf, it has a free slot for an SSD (M.2 - type 2280, I suppose) and I want to install one. I went to Crucial to see which SSDs are compatible, but then I noticed that the end (I don’t know what it’s called, where you connect the slot and the SSD) has a different format; the slot only has 2 "parts" while the one that Crucial is suggesting has 3 "parts". I would like to have more information on which SSD may be compatible with my PC.

Thank you

    Hello,

If the slot is M.2 SATA, no problem. The third "pin" will fit into the large wide slot.

Thank you for that response, but how do I know if it's in M.2 SATA?

According to the manual, it is compatible with SATA and NVMe, so both can be installed on this machine. So, no worries on that side.

If I understood correctly, these models (page 41) and those with the same characteristics are compatible with my PC?
