Hello,
I want to create a long documentary video for personal purposes, and I would like to know if one of you could help me with some points.
I already have a camera (G7X Mark iii), but since I no longer have a computer, I will have to create the video on my iPad Air 5th generation. Unfortunately, I have come to understand that not all external hard drives are compatible due to power limitations.
Do you know which external hard drives are compatible for storing several hours of video footage from my SD cards and transferring them through my iPad?

Hello,
It is not the drives that are the issue but the specific Apple connector and the power consumption of the drive.
The connector only requires an adapter cable, but ideally, the drive should be powered other than through the iPad, notably by a self-powered USB Lightning Hub.
