Question

Hello, the Wi-Fi connection is no longer working on my ASUS laptop. When I click on troubleshoot, it shows me that the "REALTEK 8821AE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC is experiencing driver or hardware issues - not fixed" even after clicking on troubleshoot.
What should I do, please? I can't access any troubleshooting online since the connection isn't working. Thank you

Hello,  Press Windows + R Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.  Go to Network Adapters Right-click on Realtek 8821AE Wireless Uninstall  Click on --> Action Scan for hardware changes.  What is the model number of the Asus?   -- The human being is at its best when things are at their worst.

Reinstall the driver for your WiFi network card, go to >this site<, install the agent and then run a detection. Once the detection is complete, you will have a list of drivers that are not up to date by clicking on the My Drivers tab. Check if a driver for your WiFi network card is part of the list and if so, install it.

When I click on "this site" that you mentioned, an error page appears. I also want to clarify that I am communicating with you using my desktop computer, which is connected, and that the laptop is experiencing connection issues. How can I go about fixing it?
I have explored several options on the laptop and found this: "reset the network configuration": We were unable to detect your network problem. However, as a possible solution, we can reset the network configuration of your computer for you. This will remove all the virtual adapters you have installed and restore the default values for all network settings. Your computer will restart after this action, so please save all open files before proceeding.
Do you think I should try this suggestion? What adapters are they referring to? Is there a risk of losing anything important? I want to specify that I do not have any important documents on the laptop.

I uninstalled the REALTECK 8821AE - Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC and stopped there. I haven't clicked on Action yet; I'm waiting for your instructions.

I haven't clicked on Action yet  ???  Click on --> Action Search for hardware changes.  If the problem persists: Restart the PC and try this driver -->  Realtek
