Hello,
Houston friends, I have a problem, a BIG problem!
Here’s my issue: some time ago, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 when it was still possible to do so for free, and everything worked fine. However, a while back, I wanted to reset my Windows because it was starting to get a bit slow. The problem is that Windows told me that the reset was impossible. Up to that point, okay, I backed up all my important data on another hard drive, I downloaded the media creation tool from the Microsoft website for Windows 10, launched the tool, and put Windows 10 on a blank 8GB USB drive. Once that was done, I turned off the PC, booted from the USB drive, and the Windows 10 installation page launched. I chose my version of Windows 10, the family 64-bit version. I did not choose to upgrade; I selected the second option and deleted all the partitions to have a completely empty hard drive. I moved on, and Windows installed without any issues. The reboot happened, and it continued with the installation of devices until I had to wait for about 2 minutes, then a reboot in progress appeared for a second, then disappeared, but the PC did not restart and remained on a black screen with no mouse cursor—just a black screen. I waited for more than an hour, but nothing happened; still a black screen. So, I force-restarted the PC. The Windows 10 logo appeared and loaded, then I reached a blue screen with a loading sign in the center, saying "please wait," followed by "your computer encountered a problem and needs to restart." So I force-restarted again because Windows must collect error information, but it stayed at 0%. This time, the restart displayed not "please wait" but just "wait," and I arrived at the login page, except I couldn’t even create a session, and Windows created a session named "default user0" with a password that, of course, I do not know. I should mention that I removed my graphics card before doing the installation because Windows keeps restarting on the aforementioned black screen, which I imagine was a problem with the driver that Windows was trying to install. That's why I restarted the installation without the graphics card. For your information, it's a GTX 760 3GB 192bit OEM from Asus, and my processor is an i7 4770s. It’s a desktop PC bought from a store, specifically the Asus M51AC FR034S. I tried with Windows 7 and 8.1, and they installed without any problems, but I really need Windows 10. Thank you in advance to those who will take their time to help me!

Hello, thank you for your response. I am currently attempting a complete reset; it will take some time, but do you know where the problem with my computer comes from? The operating system must have been programmed by monkeys, especially since I installed it on someone else's PC with the same USB key and everything went smoothly for them, whereas I have tested it 10 times and it happens every time.

Hello, the reset has just finished but the problems continue. The first step went well, it completed 100% without any issues, but during the second step, around 50%, the PC restarted to a black screen. I had to force restart it again. After restarting, I reached the session choice screen, but this time it's not defaultuser0, it's Other User, which asks me to enter a username and password. I tried entering random information, but it didn't work. I also have the option to enter a Microsoft account, but in the bottom right corner on the network icon, there is a red cross, so it's not possible to connect with a Microsoft account!
