Hello, I need your help please. I bought a cordless phone from the brand Alcatel model: f690 duo, and I'm having trouble with the installation, and unfortunately, I've lost the manual. Both phones display that the base is on, but I think the one that has the RJ11 socket is the base.

    The base is indeed the one connected with an RJ11 socket.
    "Turning on the base" implies that the base is not powered.

      But the manual is not the right one because it's not the model with a built-in answering machine. And for the base, it is not powered electrically, there's only the RJ11 jack; it's the little base that is powered electrically.
