Hello,
For some time now, when I start my computer, I am prompted to press F1 to enter the BIOS (see image), and only then can I boot my computer from the BIOS.
It is worth noting that this has never happened to me before.
I have tried to look for settings in the BIOS that could resolve my issue, and I found one; it was something like "F1 if there is an error" and it was enabled by default.
I disabled it, but obviously, it did not work, and the setting was automatically reactivated even though I did click "save and exit."
I also noticed that when changing other settings (like switching to performance mode instead of normal), the settings reset with every reboot.
I was advised to change the boot order of my computer (sorry, but I'm not very knowledgeable about this), meaning to boot from the SSD where Windows is installed first and then the disk drive, not the other way around, and it is one of the only settings that has not been reset (but it hasn't changed anything anyway).
I also recently changed my power supply, but I don't think it is related since the issue only arose about a week afterward.
I have tried to be as precise as possible, but if you need more information, feel free to ask.
Thank you in advance to those who will take the time to help me.

Hi,
Old PC?
Does the clock get desynchronized when you unplug the power cable from the tower for a few minutes?
If so, replace the motherboard battery.

Hello,
Have you changed the BIOS battery? This allows you to save the BIOS settings.

Best regards

Thank you for your replies.
My PC is from 2014 so I think it's quite old (even if I change components from time to time).
The clock has never gone out of sync.
I am going to change the battery on my motherboard and I will let you know as soon as the operation has been completed.
