HP printer refuses to print a font

Hello,

for a few days now, the printer in my office has been refusing to print a text document if it has the "Sansa" font on it. The printing doesn’t happen at all, there’s no trace of the document in the queue, it cancels directly.

We have several computers connected to this printer, and we all have the same problem. However, if I try to print from my computer to the neighboring office's printer, there are no issues with this font...

I have tried reinstalling the font and resetting the printer, but it still doesn’t work.

It’s an HP Envy printer.

Thank you in advance!

Mélanie.

Try to modify the way fonts are used by the driver:

In the control panel, open the "printers" section and right-click on your printer icon to open "printing options"

In the "advanced" window, change the "TrueType fonts" to: download as a vector font, if not already done.

Same option in the "Postscript option" section for TrueType fonts.

Hello, thank you for this information, but in "print options - advanced," there is nothing you mentioned to modify...
I have:
- configuration of the number of pages
- print in maximum dpi mode
- HP real life technology
- brochure
- pages to print
- borderless printing

Depending on the manufacturers, the printer drivers have different windows.

Look for the way in which TrueType fonts should be sent to the printer. This option exists in practically all drivers... It allows you to not use the printer's fonts but only those contained in the document.

Using the printer's fonts can speed up printing (with the risk of non-printing or substitution).
