Hello,

I have a car that’s getting old :)

equipped with a large car radio-cassette deck-with CD changer.

Like everyone else, I’m used to listening to my MP3s in large quantities when I drive for long periods.

I often used FM transmitters. Drawbacks: fragile (I’ve changed several, without playing soccer with them, though), some issues with randomness, and especially when you approach a city you have too many FM frequencies so you can’t hear your MP3 anymore.

Do you have an idea of another more recent system that would work to listen to MP3s in the car?
Thanks

Up to certain USB key or SD card sizes with certain readers (Players), beyond 500GB it’s difficult for compatibility I think, I have a 1TB Micro SD card that isn’t very useful to me after all, for now because my players don’t support it.

    Hello,
Indeed, burning MP3s, I used to do that, but it leaves little variety when you drive for a long time (I love road trips of several hundred kilometers ;) )

So it is indeed the transmission.
I had FM transmitters that all died (usually from cold, although I’m in Paris and it’s never that cold) during winters.
Well, they aren’t high-quality products either.

And, the other problem is that if I have 8GB of songs on my USB stick, they don’t all show up. (My hi-fi system does the same, it’s limited to 500 or 1000 MB of songs.)

The idea was to know, precisely, if there were new things since these transmitters.

The transmitter you showed is different from the ones I have used.
    How does this one work?
Which device is the Bluetooth plugged into?

      Hello,

      -

it's like The Three Musketeers but a version 20 years earlier...

Back then I used an audio cassette adapter like this:

      https://www.darty.com/nav/achat/ref/MC333010002.html?ofmp=957792593&dartycid=sem_free-listing_MP-audio--hifi--casque_casque-ecouteurs

which I plugged into a 512 MB MP3 player powered by a AAA battery.

Since then I’ve changed the car stereo and sorry for the late ignition.
