Hello everyone,
I have an Acer Aspire laptop (Windows 7). Following some problems with my scanner, I wanted to uninstall and reinstall my printer "HP Photosmart series B110". During the reinstallation, it shows me an error and collects the error data. There are two scenarios:
1) When I click on "show errors", I get this:
error code 04652472
The following lines have been extracted from the installation error logs.
+00000000000000905216|s|Now Launching=X:\hpzwup01.exe -| XXX -f
"X:\hppoins47.dat" -Validate No dat" -Validate No
Exit code= -1073741819
The program stops working
2) When I don't click on Show errors but continue:
it asks to send an error report, I click continue and then it displays that "HP Installer Recovery Plug-In has stopped working"
and the program also closes
What should I do?
Thank you for your help.

Hello;
Can you write to us how you uninstalled this printer because I think that if the new installation isn't working, it's (in my opinion) because there are remnants of the old installation
Also confirm if your Windows 7 is 32 or 64 bits

Thank you for kindly notifying if your problem is resolved by activating this function in the designated area

Hello;
The response may seem long but it is the most effective way to properly and completely remove this printer and perform a clean new installation.
1- Unplug all connections linking the printer to the machine.
2- Check all programs to see if the HP Photosmart series B110 software is present.
3- If yes: Download Revo Uninstaller using the link below.
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/19405-revo-uninstaller/
4- Launch Revo Uninstaller and uninstall HP Photosmart series B110 and only that by following the tool's procedure.
5- Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility using the link below.
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/23953-windows-installer-cleanup-utility/
6- Launch Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and check if HP Photosmart series B110 is present in the list: If yes, select remove on its line: Attention only HP Photosmart series B110.
There are also certain lines with names resembling these:
AIO_CDB_product context C 82.0.242.000
AIO_CDB_software 82.0242.000
AIO_scan C 82.0242.000
See this screenshot for example.
These lines are components of HP printer installations >> Also remove them by selecting remove.
7- Open the registry (by typing Regedit in the search bar that opens by clicking on the Windows logo at the bottom left of the screen).
7/1- Click on the key Hkey-Current-User >> Software >> Expand the list to search for HP (Printer) and delete this key and only that.
7/2- Click on Hkey-Local-Machine >> Software >> Expand the list to search for HP (Printer) and delete this key only.
8- Restart the machine, then check if HP Photosmart series B110 is still present by typing its name in the search bar that opens by left-clicking on the Windows icon at the bottom left (In principle, there should be nothing left?).
9- Go to the HP website using the link below.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=4022343&lc=fr&cc=fr&dlc=fr&lang=fr&tmp_track_link=ot_we/prodlink/fr_fr/4022343/loc:0&cc=fr
10- Open the Drivers / Software section then select Windows 7 (32 or 64 bits) and Next.
11- Open Driver - Product installation software and download the full version available.
12- Reconnect the printer to the machine when prompted by the system during installation.
13- The printer should be recognized by the system.
14- If problems arise >> Check the Troubleshooting section in the link for HP Photosmart series B110 mentioned above.
A+ for the final result.
If problems or misunderstandings arise >> Return to the Forum and this message.

Hello Jmarion3
I’m reaching out to you because I saw on the forum that you had previously responded to this type of message regarding a printer. I followed the procedure you suggested, but it's still not working.
So, I have a tricky HP Photosmart B110a printer, CN245b
and a Windows 7 64-bit PC.
As you recommended, I removed all traces of the previously registered printer. I retrieved the driver PS_AIO_07_B110_USW_Full_Win_fra_140_126.exe... I launched the .exe application, but nothing works...
I must say that it worked fine a week ago; there was an error when turning on the computer, and, in safe mode (it seems to me), I was told that some new installations might be removed. This is indeed the case with the printer that was recently added... Can you help me out?
Thank you in advance.
Have a great day.

I would like to add that the installation problem occurs when the computer is trying to detect the printer. The installation bar stays stuck at 50% for a long time, then 15 minutes later, there is a failure... the installation then offers to finish the program and connect the printer later. The problem is that I don't know how to do it later...
Originally, it's a story of an undetected device, which is why I thought of updating the driver. In vain...
Hoping to hear back from you soon.. Thank you.
