Hello,
A friend was stuck with his printer and the message "ink pad end of service", to help him I downloaded the "wic reset" software and I tried it on my computer. ERROR because the waste counter for my printer, which was only at 33.40%, went up to 89%. I'm afraid that soon the same message will appear on my printer.
Of course, the software offers to download a paid key to reset the counters to zero.
I tried "SCC Service Utility" but it's too old (works with XP) and my printer is not listed.
I also tried "epson adjustment program" but I only get error messages during operation.
Does anyone know of a free trick to reset the counters to zero?
Thank you very much
My printer is an epson stylus DX5050

    Hello,

The "wic-reset" software is a scam!
Because even if you pay, it will not perform any actions that allow you to prolong the life of your printer.

Have you tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling the printer?

I've been using WicReset for years and it's not a scam. It works perfectly. You just need to know how to use it!
