How to uninstall the Family Link app? Solved/Closed

My son got his first smartphone (or rather his first mobile phone) for his 13th birthday. Having little trust in the internet, I installed the Google Family Link app on our phones to monitor his beginnings.
But I realized that it was a load of crap and now my son can't do anything because it blocks everything.
I decided to delete his Gmail account, the family group, and to remove the apps from our phones. On mine, everything has been uninstalled properly, but on my son's, it's impossible!! The app is set as an administrator and I can't even reset it to factory settings. So everything is blocked: to access Google Play, it asks for my son's Gmail account login, but that has been deleted, it's impossible to recover it and impossible to create a new one....

Hello everyone. To remove Family Link.
Go to your child's phone. In Family Link, at the top right, there are three dots: account info.
Inside, at the bottom, there is an option to remove the account. It will ask you for your own Google account control password.
And there you go, once the account is deleted, you can uninstall the app.

Indeed, a hard reset is necessary. Personally, I couldn't do it, so I went back to Orange and a nice young guy unlocked everything by fiddling with the phone in every possible way, LOL.... it worked.... otherwise, I would have had to buy a new one...

Hello, here is a radical solution to reboot your phone when the usual method is blocked by parental control:

Search online to reboot your phone (beware of data loss)

- Turn off your Android smartphone, then turn it back on while holding Volume Up + Home + Power or Volume Up + Power, depending on the manufacturer
- Select Wipe data/Factory reset, then Yes - delete all user data and confirm with Power
- Once completed, you will return to the general list; press Reboot system now

I contacted Google knowing that I had deleted my daughter's account and that it was a tablet) here is their response that allowed me to delete all that.

Since your child's account has been deleted, you will first need to restore it before you can generate the parental code.

You can restore a deleted child's account by following these steps:

When you are signed in to your Google account, go to the Your Family page on Google.
In the top left corner, click on the menu (three bars) > Recover child’s account.
Enter your password, then click Next.
Click Recover next to your child's Google account.
You can then generate a parental access code that will allow you to unlock your device as follows:

Open your Family Link app or sign in at families.google.com.
In the top left corner, select the menu (three bars) > Parental access code. This code changes every two or three minutes.
If you encounter any issues using this code, make sure that your device’s clock is set correctly.

Once you have used your parental code, if you still wish to delete your child’s account, you will first need to remove your child’s account from their devices. Otherwise, you risk losing access to them again. You can do this by proceeding as follows:

In the Family Link app

Open the Family Link app on your child’s device.
In the top left corner, tap the menu (three bars) > Delete account > Delete account.
Select your account and enter your password.
On an Android device

Go to Settings > Accounts > Google.
Tap on the Google account you want to delete.
Tap Delete account. If the option does not appear, tap More (three dots) > Delete account.
Follow the on-screen instructions to continue deleting your child's account.
By deleting your child’s account from the devices, you avoid losing access to them.

Once this step is completed, you can uninstall the Family Link app in the same way as a regular app, and delete your child's Google account.

They will then no longer have access to the following apps and items:

Gmail, Drive, and Calendar
Emails, photos, and purchase records
Content they purchased on Google Play, such as movies, games, or music
Information they saved in Chrome
Gmail username. Once the account is deleted, it can no longer be used, including for creating a Google account
To delete your child’s account:

Open the Family Link app on your device.
Select your child.
In the top right corner, tap More (three dots) > Account information.
Tap Delete account.
Read the statements and confirm them by checking the boxes.
Then tap Delete the account.

If you want to uninstall Family Link,
Try uninstalling it like a normal app (press and hold the Family Link app, then tap uninstall to remove it)
