Good evening,
I would like to report a "scam" that occurred during the free download of the software "openOffice" offered on your site in the "download" section; Indeed, during the download process carried out on April 8, 2018, a window appeared asking for some information including my mobile number in order to send me a CODE by SMS to continue the download in progress. I received a first SMS at 16:49:03 from Open Office "Global High Services: your code is 171819 (4.5 EUR per code)" and then a second SMS at 16:46:14 with another code. I registered the codes as instructed without noticing the mention of the price of 4.5 EUR per code, and I reached the end of the download.
However, I was surprised to see that my operator FREE charged me an amount of 9 € corresponding
to 4 SMS, 2 of which were free, with the recipient number 83020 (Virgopass-TelccoPass).
My question is the following: Why is the download of the free software advertised, while through a "trick" from Open Office (or Virgopass?), you end up paying? I do not know if this is normal or if some clever people have found a way to scam the naive.
My wish is to understand what happened because I am left with a bitter aftertaste.
And especially to warn Internet users who might find themselves in the same situation.
Thank you for responding if you can.
In the meantime, please accept my distinguished greetings.

    Good evening,
indeed, it seems very strange to me!
Could you post the link to the site on the forum; is it the official site?
In my case, the software was free.
I'll pass you the link if you want.
With that, have a good evening.
