Hello,
I recently bought a Nikon P900. I want to take burst photos of sprinting, but in "sport" mode, I can only take 7. How can I take more without having to wait for it to charge? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello,
Nikon announces 7 frames per second in burst mode for this camera. It's therefore normal; and there's no possibility to increase the rate.

Isn't it possible to have bursts of several seconds?

Nikon announces 7 shots in burst mode followed by 6 seconds of charging with full-res photo.
Maybe with a low-res setting you could get an eighth one...

It is certainly possible to take longer bursts. For that, you need to use high-speed writing cards (be careful, they're expensive) to prevent the buffer from getting clogged (it's a fast memory that stores photo files that aren't written to the card quickly enough).
The write speed is indicated on high-end cards (they boast about it).
The Sandisk Extreme Pro has a speed of 95 MB/s. That's already fast. There are faster options, but they are also more expensive.

Thank you very much, I will consider getting that.
