Nikon D500 black screen, no menu and no focus

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with my Nikon D500 that I purchased last year, the lens is a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm (I don't have any others).

It powers on without issue, but nothing displays on the screen. I can no longer access images, the menu, etc. When I look through the viewfinder, I notice that I cannot focus but I can take photos.

I suspect there is an issue related to the lens, as the failure occurred while I was filming from a zenithal point of view, and the lens tended to extend under the weight... it was stable at the moment the failure occurred.

I have no idea how to approach this problem; do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

    Hello,

It would be better to take advantage of the warranty. (at least if it was purchased as new equipment...

This type of equipment relies on extreme miniaturization, with complex mechanisms, and the electronic component requires very advanced knowledge for any potential repair.
