I lost the pin code for my Philips TV.

Question

Hello,

When I turn on the TV, the channels are no longer available.
I know I need to do a "channel scan," but it asks me for a PIN code, a PIN code that I have never had to use.
I tried with 0000 and then 1234, and it doesn't work.
Thank you for your help.

If you haven't set your PIN code when turning on your TV for the first time, you will need to set your PIN code before using the lock function.

If you are setting your PIN code for the first time:

Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select FEATURES, then press the right arrow.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select AUTO LOCK, then press the right arrow.
When the prompt PLEASE ENTER A 4-DIGIT PIN appears on the screen, enter the universal code 0711
If you wish, you can change the code by selecting CHANGE CODE
Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

To change the PIN code if you do not know it or have forgotten it:

Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select FEATURES, then press the right arrow.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select AUTO LOCK, then press the right arrow.
When the prompt PLEASE ENTER YOUR CURRENT PIN appears on the screen, enter the universal code 0711
Enter a new four-digit access code that is easy to remember and confirm it by entering it a second time.
Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
