Hello,
I had a question, is it possible to unlock "iCloud lock" on an iPhone, more specifically a red iPhone 7?
I bought an iPhone but I don't have the email address and password for its iCloud account. Thank you. If it's possible, how would a simple restoration solve the problem?
Thank you.

Configuration: Windows / Internet Explorer 11.0

    Hello,

It is customary BEFORE payment and the purchase of an iPhone to check its proper functioning... Just like when buying a second-hand car, you test it before buying it... ;-)

Unfortunately, in this case, there is no miracle solution; the iPhone is barely good... for the trash as it is now, since iCloud acts as an anti-theft that is doing its job quite well in this case.

And it is impossible to bypass it, since activation requires a connection to Apple's servers, and the data is located with Apple and not on the phone.

The only solution would be to contact the seller again to ask them to unlock the iPhone.

Otherwise, it is perhaps even quite likely that it is a stolen iPhone... if the seller no longer responds.

We cannot provide you with more information here to resolve this issue.

Thank you, actually saying not to buy it was kind of a staged setup, but thank you very much for your information
and we can't restore it or anything, or dismantle and desolder what allows storing the account, so the ROM.

      "LOL"

Except it's not stored in the device. Bad luck. And given the honesty you’re showing...

It's verified directly with Apple, using the device's serial number, and they know if an account is linked (or not).

So, as I was saying: clipboard.

      And really: no solution.

Whether you bought it or not, the answer remains the same, an iCloud locked phone becomes a paperweight.
