Hello
Unless I’m mistaken, under this version, the card is managed by the system and is therefore "added" to the device's memory.
There is therefore no "management" to be done, nor is it manageable as a separate element.
Best regards

Yes, starting from 6.x, it is possible for the OS to manage both internet memory and SD memory, encompassing everything and combining it into one.
Advantage: you no longer have to manage anything, the OS does it for you, no more moving apps, etc. Another advantage is that the content is protected (encrypted).
Disadvantage: you can no longer read the content outside of the phone. So be sure to have a backup system in the cloud. Since you typically have a Google account, simply enable backup/synchronization.
In case of loss, change (if you stay on android), or resetting the phone, you just need to reconnect to your account and it will download everything (applications, data).

Hello, a little update, having also a ZenPad 10, and also a problem with the SD card, I contacted Asus, who confirmed to me that since Android 7, Nougat I believe, the system no longer manages SD cards... except for putting photos and documents manually, we can no longer use it as backup memory for apps... and no update planned to remedy the issue...
