How to change the default storage to save on SD card Solved

Question

Hello,  I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and I'm experiencing storage issues. So I bought a 16GB memory card. I inserted it.  When I try to install applications from the Play Store, I always get the same message: INSUFFICIENT STORAGE AVAILABLE. Which is true for the device, but there is space on the memory card.  So how do I change the default storage so that it automatically saves to the memory card?  The manual doesn't say anything.  It's a hassle because I won't have any applications left after trying to reformat the SD card.  Thanks in advance for your help.  Nathalie

Hello;  for the SD card, I found it. You need to go to settings, storage, click on device memory, then on others, browse, DCIM, at the top click on more after checking, move, click on SD card and finally in the last window at the top click ok. The photos have been moved to the card. They are no longer in the device memory. That's the solution; it's annoying, but well......

Hello  It's not surprising if you had just done a simple search.... you could put a 32 or 64 gig microSD card and your apps would still remain in your internal storage... Hello  I have the same problem. When I take pictures myself, they go to the SD card. But if they're received via MMS, SMS, or Facebook, they are saved to the internal memory. I can't move them to the SD card. Soon the memory will be full. I've searched a lot on the device and in the user manual without finding a solution. If anyone knows, it would be a great help. Also, my email is Yahoo. The trash won't empty. Unknown error. I'm lost there too. Thank you, if anyone has an answer.

Hello, a solution that seems to work = Go to "settings" Then to "Application" Next to "internet" And finally go to advanced settings and change the "default storage mode"

Hello, I found out how to manage apps: you go to settings -> storage -> device memory -> used space -> applications, then you select the desired app and press modify storage space  I hope this will be useful to you :)
