Bypass Google account security on Asus tablet P028 Z301M

Good evening. My parents have locked their ASUS tablet (ZenPAD 10 Z301M) after a mishap.
After resetting the tablet, it does not allow the option to connect to a previously used Google account. However, they have absolutely no idea what that account is. After several attempts, despite entering the correct username and password, it's impossible to connect.

Does anyone know how to bypass this Google account login step?
Hoping to find my savior, have a great evening.

Same here, it's a real piece of crap, thank you Google for the effectiveness of this security. It really works well.
Once the password is validated, a message displays "Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again."

Personally, I haven't lost my previously synced Google account, I just wanted to restore factory settings. Apparently, we no longer own the equipment we purchase.

If anyone has a solution... Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem! I found the Gmail address and the password but that doesn’t change anything since the tablet won’t cooperate and won’t move on to the next step!!

    Good evening
Unfortunately, there is no solution other than remembering the Google account.
    Best regards

    Good evening,

You will not find any solutions on CCM to "bypass" the security procedures of a service provider. This is against the charter and the law.

It's also a protection in case one of your devices is stolen.

Which charter and legislation are you talking about?

The charter is that of CCM, which applies to all users and that you are supposed to respect when posting. Every forum has one for legal and commercial reasons.

CCM's can be found here (see buttons at the bottom of this page):

        https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25845-charte-d-utilisation-de-commentcamarche-net/

        completed here:

        https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25871-pourquoi-commentcamarche-n-aide-pas-a-trouver-un-mot-de-passe/

The legislation in question is French law, which prohibits any intrusion into a system (Google) whose circumvention you are requesting, therefore hacking, which is punishable by fines and imprisonment, for you (check with your parents) but also for CCM administrators (which would penalize its subscribers)

As such, Google provides public procedures to recover your account, which you are free to use or not, but that CCM cannot legally and technically assume.

The volunteers that we are spend half of their assistance time explaining this to new entrants, who sometimes come to the site only to request passwords (forbidden) or to replace foreign companies (Facebook, Google, Instagram, Tik Tok) that profit outside of France, pay little taxes, and do not provide a technical service that is solely their responsibility.

When solutions exist, we communicate them within the framework of the law.
