When I perform the long press on the +/_ and power buttons, nothing happens and the warranty expired two months ago.
Is there another trick? Or is my tablet good for the trash?
Thank you.

I'm reposting on the same topic:
I managed to unlock my ASUS ZENPAD not by pressing the volume and sound buttons at the same time, but out of desperation by starting to open the screen!!
I used the site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLUXf03D8_A
Thanks to the blade of a Swiss army knife, I started to unclip the tablet's screen from the top (upper) right side (I think it took about 3 minutes to open), and miracle, the screen turned on (it must have been on). I landed on the "bios" menu offering me either REBOOT or "wipe":
Using the volume button, I chose reboot and confirmed with the volume button: it's back on
Maybe I just got lucky!

Hello,
What happens when you long press (10/20 seconds) the power and volume + and - buttons simultaneously?

Hello,
I just took the test on the computer; it doesn't recognize the tablet, and even trying the buttons doesn't work.

Same here, my ASUS ZENPAD 10 bought in November 2015, the screen stopped turning on in December 2017, just 1 month after the warranty expired!
I tried the methods described, but the screen remains black (except for a faint glow on the side).
However, if I plug it in via USB, it is recognized as a hard drive.
SO very DISAPPOINTED with ASUS!
