Hello, I would like to ask you for a favor, please. I have a friend who wanted to clean my Samsung tablet and now I no longer have the photo gallery; I only have the icon. All my images are on the memory card, and when I take a photo with the tablet, it goes directly to the memory card!!! How can I recover my gallery? It would be nice of you; I'm in deep trouble. Thank you very much in advance for your response.

Thank you very much, I found my gallery but it erased my photos from the card. Grrr, that's frustrating! I'm trying to see if I can find them elsewhere, but I don't really believe it.

  On Android (and in general), it is recommended to synchronize with your Google account. This allows you to have your photos in the gallery AND on your Google account.
  So there is no loss in case of issues or theft.
  
  This is the principle of duplication (backup) that should be applied to ALL your data in general, phone, tablet, and PC.

Hello

it's all the better that your photos are being saved on your microsd... better than on your internal memory.

when you press your gallery icon, what happens and please be specific...

Hello

"I found my gallery but it erased my photos from the card"... it doesn't erase anything... probably your friend who supposedly cleaned your tablet deleted them. Go to settings, then Google account, tap on it, and check that you have all syncs enabled.

  Hello Puma, as you say, he erased everything, I can't find anything anymore. This is what happens when you let friends who say they know what they're doing handle it!!!!! Anyway, it's done!!! Go check your Google account on a PC.
If you have Firefox or another browser.

Go to www.google.com

Log in at the top right

Click on gallery, if you don't see the icon click on More

and check if your images/photos are there
