Hello, I reset Windows 10 because my PC was lagging horribly. I then restarted it, and all the deleted applications were in a Microsoft Edge folder on the desktop. I reinstalled all the deleted software except for the NVIDIA drivers, which are present by default.

For the audio, I had to install Realtek and AC'97 Audio. Realtek didn't cause any problems, while AC'97 Audio told me: "Windows x64 driver (Rtkvac64.sys) is missing!" So I looked for Rtkvac.sys, installed it, and placed the folder in Windows->System32->drivers and left it there thinking it would solve the AC'97 Audio problem.

So here I am, and I'm trying to solve this problem. Tell me how and where to place Rtkvac64.sys.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Your motherboard has an IDT audio chipset, not a "Realtek AC'97". The driver won't install because it's incompatible.
