Hello,
excuse me for my clumsiness
impossible to install my SilverCrest SND3600 D2 scanner
with the CD provided for a Mac High Sierra (Safari 11.0313604-5.6)

You have OS 10.13.6, but this scanner only works on OS 10.12 or lower. Solutions: pressure Lidl to provide a driver compatible with Mac OS High Sierra; return the scanner to where you bought it; or wait for a good geek to look into this issue and fix it.

Hello,

You have installed the Mac applications and drivers, which should be on your installation disk provided with this scanner and should be for your OS; if not, try going to this page and download the driver for Mac, install it, restart your Mac, connect your scanner, if you haven't done so yet, turn it on, and let us know how it goes.
These low-cost scanners sold at Lidl or other supermarkets are not the best! And finding the manufacturer, drivers, and apps is not easy.

No, he didn't ask you to "burn" the disk but to "install" on the disk, certainly, here is some help to install software and applications on your hard drive: Software installation

Once installed, they will be operational and you will be able to use your scanner.
I suppose you have a CD/DVD drive to read the installation disk that came with your scanner? So, after reading the help, you insert it into the drive, when it appears on the desktop (Mac screen) you double-click on it to open it, you choose what you need to install (for Mac) and follow the instructions.
