Windows Defender Security Center Solved

Question

Hello,
For several days now, my Security Center Windows Defender icon has been showing an exclamation mark (Recommended Actions) and when I open the Security Center Windows Defender I don’t see any errors (no action required). I also noticed that it indicates on the homepage that I am using another antivirus service while this is false (the control panel clearly states that it is Windows Defender) and the Windows Defender Security Center too, but on the homepage, it says otherwise.

Hello,  Look in the Event Viewer → Windows logs  You might have an event related to Defender or the security center   -- pistouri

Is Windows Defender up to date? (Windows Update)

Have you done a Defender scan and then restarted the PC?

Do you have any cleaning software like Malwarebytes?

Have you installed and uninstalled another antivirus?

Do you have CCleaner?
It by default cleans the history of Windows Defender and adds
an exclamation mark (already seen on some PCs)

Give us the installed version of Windows
- 1607?
- 1703?

A bug certainly in this version which I think still has improvements ahead of it.

Additionally, a new version is expected to be released before the end of the year.

Perform a system file check  Type cmd in the Cortana search box  Right-click on Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator"  Copy and paste this command  sfc /scannow  Then press Enter Duration → 20 minutes  If there are errors, copy and paste this command  Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth  Then press Enter  Type exit to quit or close the CMD window Restart the PC   -- scalpel
